Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about VisioLayer licenses, features, and performance.

General & Pricing

What is the difference between Free and Pro? The Free version offers standard sliders, text/image layers, and basic animations. VisioLayer Pro unlocks 200+ templates, video backgrounds, dynamic content sources (WooCommerce/Posts), and advanced add-ons.

Is it a one-time payment or a subscription? VisioLayer Pro is an annual subscription. Your license renews automatically each year to ensure you continue receiving updates and support. You can cancel anytime.

Can I upgrade my license later? Yes. You can upgrade from Personal to Business or Agency plans at any time from your account area. You will only pay the difference in price.

Do you offer refunds? Yes. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the plugin doesn't work for you and our support team cannot resolve your issue, we will issue a full refund.

Licensing

What happens if my license expires? Your sliders will continue to work perfectly. However, you will lose access to software updates, the template library, and premium support.

Can I use the Pro version on a client site? Yes. If you have an Agency license (or enough Personal single licenses), you can activate the plugin on client sites.

Does a local development site count towards my limit? No. Domains like localhost, .dev, .test, and staging. are automatically ignored and do not count against your activation limit.

Technical & Compatibility

Will VisioLayer slow down my site? No. VisioLayer is built for performance. It uses smart asset loading, meaning scripts are only loaded on pages where a slider exists. We also support lazy loading for images and videos.

Does it work with my theme? VisioLayer is compatible with 99% of WordPress themes, including popular ones like Astra, Divi, Avada, and OceanWP. It works with any theme that follows WordPress coding standards.

Does it work with Page Builders? Yes. VisioLayer has a dedicated Gutenberg block and works seamlessly with Elementor, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, and Divi Builder via shortcode or widgets.

Is it Multisite compatible? Yes. You can network activate the plugin. Note: You will need a separate license key for each sub-site where you want to activate Pro features, unless you have an Agency Unlimited license.
